Rene started his helicopter pilot training in 2011 on a Hughes "Schweizer" 300C. After his first solo flight, he switched to the Jet Ranger and took his test. He then retrained on the H120 Colibri and completed the mountain test and night flight training with 75 flying hours. He  then continued his training on the H125 & H130. Today he only flies the H125.

He was able to expand his experience as a helicopter pilot with various Swiss helicopter companies such as Air Glacier, Air Zermatt, Airport Helicopter, Alpinlift & Swisshelicopter and train with the best in mountain flying.
